Do not worry, 10 k was the distance I could not get right , 5km 5mile and 10 mile times all relatively good but never ran a good 10 k , I used to race people rather than times that way I did not worry about PBs and they would come.

Ace. I too had a bad 10k Sunday. 5 weeks ago I PB'd at 47:47 the second time I'd dipped under 50 mins. Sunday I was thinking I'd get under 50 no problem I struggled in at 51:25 felt massively disappointed in myself as i knew I could do better! I'd blame the weather but my friend PB'd by 2 mins getting 45 mins!! I've had a bad race week maybe it's because I had a cold last week who knows but reading your blog has made me feel better!

I think fail is a strong word. Yes you didn't achieve one of your goals but you succeeded in many other areas. It is very easy to forget that we are human and not machines so we cannot control everything. Sometimes this is frustrating but think how boring life would be if it all went to plan all the time. Hang in there. You will get sub 50 I am sure. X
